R. Auriculatus is one of the best looking animals from New Caledonia. It is found in his colour red in the wild ! There is a lot of selection beside these animals but the wild animals were red . There are different type of auriculatus, striped or reticulated. The colours the auriculatus can produce are orange, red , yellow or white. I’m keeping only red coloured ones as i prefer the high red ones on orange or whitish animals. These animals can change colours why fired-unfired, and can be incredible, seems to be a different animal.
As i have only red animals i select only for reticulated or for striped animals. All reds.
